AARG Ham Radio Presentation at  Craft Show on May 16th, 2026
Setup was clean and easy. Foot traffic around the display was very light all morning with very few questions from non-amateur radio folks. We had several HT’s set on the 146.64 frequency but did not hear much on the repeater. Dave, WA3GPM, set up a portable two meter station and antenna for packet, slow scan TV, and FM voice. He connected with AB3GF for some picture swapping and then used packet to connect to the W3AVP WinLink server in New Holland via the W3CRS node and send a demonstration email.

We met one young man who was very interested in the code practice oscillator. That resulted in a nice discussion with him and his father. They left the display with AARG and ARRL promotional materials and Harry’s phone number and email address. Hopefully there will be follow-up news.

The following AARG members were present or assisted via RF remotely. Please let me know if anyone was missed:

AB3GF, Bob
K3KNT, John
KB3YTV, David
KC3TTS, Chuck
KM3D, Harry
W3NDY, Wendy
W3UF, Frank
WA3GPM, Dave
WB3HBX, Tim

We had visits from Paul, KA3ION of Richland and from Paul, KD3KE of Pelham, Georgia (a past Lebanon County resident).

Thank you to Frank, W3UF, for this opportunity. Vendors were asked for a $25 outside/$30 inside table fee. AARG was not asked for this. Thanks to all who were present, especially those who volunteered for preparation, setup and club representation.
