Union Pacific Big Boy 4014 Locomotive
In celebration of America's 250th Birthday, Union Pacific Railroad has launched their Coast-To-Coast tour of the iconic 4014 "Big Boy" articulated steam locomotive. It is a massive marvel of locomotive history weighing in at 1.2 million pounds and measuring almost 133 feet long. On July 7, 2026, from approximately 12:30PM to 1:15PM EST 4014 will be stopped at the historic Lebanon Railroad Station on the Iconic Reading Railroad line (modern day Norfolk Southern) in Lebanon, PA. We will be operating a special event station to celebrate and commemorate this once in a lifetime visit. Look for us on HF bands 10M, 20M, 40M, & 80M Phone and CW.
